Mist lubrication unit |
The mist lubrication unit failed (for oil-mist turret
lubrication types).
[Code]
2->The turret oil-mist drip sensor switch kept ON for 30
second or longer.
3->The turret oil-mist drip sensor input kept OFF through
successive two cycles, each cycle starting witn the
oil-mist turret lubrication pump drive air ON signal ON
and ending with this signal OFF.
4->The initial dripping at power-up by the oil-mist
lubrication unit has not been completed
(for oil-mist turret lubrication types).
5->The oil-mist turret lubricant level alarm/switch kept OFF
for 3 second or longer.
6->The oil-mist turret lubrication pressure alarm/switch
turned OFF with the oil-mist turret trication ON signal ON.
7->The oilmist supply or oilmist flow sensor did not turn ON
within the oilmist flow monitor time.
8->The oilmist flow sensor dod not turn ON within the oilmist
flow monitor for time.
[Probable Faulty Locations]
4->If the initial operation for dripping oil is not completed
when the power is supplied to the turret oil-mist
lubrication system, the M-tool spindle is not lubricated,
and so it cannot rotate. Initial operation for dripping oil
is executed each time the power is supplied. If this alarm
occurs, turn OFF the power and then turn it back ON to
execute initial operation. When the power is supplied, the
turret oil-mist lubrication pump drives the air unit. The
interval from ON to OFF of the output signal indicating
this pump operation is regarded as one cycle. One cycle is
executed in one second. The turret oil mist drip sensor
input should come ON at least one time in one cycle until
the number of cycles reaches 100. When the sensor input
comes ON in three cycles successively, the initial
operation is completed. If the initial operation is not
completed within 100 cycles, this alarm occurs. If this
alarm still occurs after retrial of initial operation, the
oil mist lubrication unit may be faulty.
5->A lower oil-mist lubricant level or faulty oil-mist
lubrication unit
